THK Electric Actuator Lightweight Series – KSF

1. Suitable for motor rated output increase

The outer track is kept lightweight and the ball screw shaft diameter is increased. Since the end of the ball screw is also enlarged, a motor with a larger rated output can be used compared to our company’s actuator of the same size.
This enables continuous high-speed, high acceleration and deceleration actions and improves production cycle time.

2. High speed, high acceleration and deceleration

The maximum speed of 2000mm/s is achieved through the long lead of the ball screw. (*KSF8 lead 40)
If a larger compatible motor is used, faster acceleration and deceleration can be achieved. (Maximum 2G)

3. Compact design and lightweight

Comparing our company’s actuators with the same rated output motor, KS F4 is approximately 45% smaller in volume and approximately 11% lighter than VLAS T60; KS F8
is approximately 67% smaller in volume and approximately 37% lighter than USW16T.

4. Long life

After the basic dynamic load rating of the LM guide part and the ball screw part is increased, it can travel up to 20,000km under the maximum load capacity (10,000km for KS F4 and KS F5 with 10mm lead), significantly extending the service life.
