The sliding screw is a 45° lead angle feed screw that is not easily available in machining. Due to the large guide angle, it is most suitable for use in fast-forward mechanisms that rotate at low speeds.

This model can easily convert linear motion into rotary motion, or rotary motion into linear motion, with 70% efficiency. Because of its large lead, it is most suitable for machines that perform rapid feed while rotating at low speeds.
