The 48 Vdc-input versions listed on this page are primarily designed for telecom and central office applications operating from 48 V battery plants. They are ideal for systems that use distributed power architectures (DPA), especially in computing, storage, networking and datacom applications, and provide colocation centers with a very flexible means of addressing their evolving power needs. Many models are mechanically identical or pin-for-pin compatible with their AC-input counterparts, enabling users to switch easily from an AC to a DC supply infrastructure.
